The change you mention about the 20th century had already been changed in print for the bound volume. Otherwise no, they haven't changed anything: from Rutherford calling himself an ass, 1975, this generation, organ transplants etc. It's all there, some back to 1950.

To be clear: this isn't my picture, so I can't confirm if younger ones are in other areas or how much seating there is beyond what's pictured. What struck me is how most in the shot just happen to be middle aged or older.

Anyway coming back from my blunder?
by Crazyguy2 inmy oldest boy got pissed that i started going back to meetings so i had one last conversation with him as he moved out.
(only went back to try and not loose whole family) during the conversation things got a bit heated and i mentioned a couple of false prophecies in the bible the rest of family heard so now they think i don’t believe at all.
guess their right think my going back was just a ruse, yes that’s true to.

Stan I'm so sorry, what cruel treatment. I know it's been repeated a million times over, but that doesn't minimize it in the least, it maximizes the GB's guilt 😡

Electric Cordless Yard Tools - Does Anyone Else Use Them?
by RubaDub ini must say, i have had my battery mower, trimmer, blower for about a year now and could not be happier (ryobi 40 volt stuff).
the same battery works in everything.
just plug and play.. yes, they are more expensive to purchase, probably 30% to 50% more than gas.

I agree, traditional engines seem so archaic by comparison. I use the Ryobi weed whacker as well and have considered the mower.

Double Standard of Proof
by neat blue dog inthere's a new article about john the baptist (not sure why they reverted to baptist instead of the modern english 'baptizer'), and it goes into several areas of his life followed by quotes from josephus showing that these specific things were historically documented.
the article is summarized by saying:.
the first-century historian josephus viewed john the baptist as a real person.

I'm assuming the article is in a JW publication? Is that right?
Yes, a new article on JWdotORG.

There's a new article about John the Baptist (not sure why they reverted to Baptist instead of the modern English 'baptizer'), and it goes into several areas of his life followed by quotes from Josephus showing that these specific things were historically documented. The article is summarized by saying:
The first-century historian Josephus viewed John the Baptist as a real person. So can we.
That's the thrust of the whole article. If it's good enough for Josephus, it's good enough for us.
Fun fact: Josephus also said that Jesus was killed on a cross, that the proper name of God was not being used in Jesus time, and that Jerusalem's desolation lasted 50 years instead of 70, destroying 607 and therefore 1914.
Now what say you?

Yeah, I got that first part. It's WTWs second paragraph that threw me for a loop.

WTWizard:
I honestly don't know what you're talking about but I'll agree with that last part, about how Jesus was baptized at 30. It's also worth noting that there were no child baptisms ever mentioned in the new testament.
